The Whitfields at Tigers for Tomorrow.

October 13

We made it through another week of field trips, cold rainy days and play dates with old friends. We went to Tigers for Tomorrow and then followed it up with a trip to the Museum to view Ink and Blood. We started our day around 5:30 and made it back home by 5:30 Pm. I was exhausted and asleep on the couch by 7:30! Everyone had a excellent time and my sweet hubby got to go.

At the end of the week we spent the day with Mama Hen's family. You can check out her blog for cool give aways and plenty of funny real life stories.

We had a great day playing outside, or the children did! All 14 of them! We celebrated a birthday and had hot chocolate, and season's candy.

Ugg. Teenagers.

Yard Sale or Bust!

Today, my neighbor and I had a joint yard sale. It was a bust! For me anyhow. I made a whopping $10. The rest went to Hannah home. My neighbor on the other had hand blew me totally out of the water with over $300! Okay, now, I know what your thinking, "She must have had nothing but junk on her table." Well, no! I had Yellow Box pink flip flops, brand new in the box and Hot Tomato black boots STILL in the box! I had good stuff like that! She was selling patio furniture and tools, tables, and big kid items. But despite the hopes of making it big, I made a new friend, my neighbor. Y'all have a good weekend.

Oh, if anyone wears a size 8, 8 1/2 and would like to purchase those shoes, let me know! I'll mail them for free!

Today, we went to the library. While at the self check out, the computer went off. (Extreme panic! What did I do wrong! All the children were standing around me...EXCEPT ONE!) The self checkout sits up on a rather tall table. I leaned down to find that one! He had unplugged the computer! Embarrassing! I'm so glad that I'm home! Okay, this picture is the mischievous - nous that I 've had to put up with the past few days! This pic was taken in the summer,

Whatz up lately

We, and I mean youth from our church and a few brave parents, and

our very own Aunt Jo,

went to Solid Rock for a Back to School Bash.

Chloe got to play a demon in the HV! Does this angel look like she could be that part! Oh my.... She liked getting to be the bad part for once! She is normally a swan or rose in the ballet and this was NOT BALLET!

Then there was an overload for these old ears of head banging Christian Rock. (Is that possible? I don't know, I couldn't understand the words?!) Our youth were a little out of place I think, but enjoyed the whole experience. The place was packed with all aged rockers!

Sam says: "Is it over yet?!"

A couple of days later, A***** had park day! We had a blast! Tons of families showed up and played ALL day!

Oh and my morning glories bloomed!
